At Noma Resins, we design and manufacture composites for a wide range of industries, including automotive (especially public transport), sports, construction, defense, and mining.
Our primary production technique is compression molding, which enables the creation of complex shapes with excellent mechanical properties and visual aesthetics. One of our key advantages over other manufacturers is our ability to internally supply raw materials for composite production, including resins and intermediates such as prepregs (made from glass, carbon, basalt, and natural fibers), as well as SMC and BMC components. We constantly develop both our materials and processes to deliver high-quality products at competitive prices.
We have also developed an advanced manufacturing process for Green Composites using recycled materials (GRP elements), utilizing NOMA Green Resins (resins derived from plant-based waste) as the matrix. This allows us to create the most eco-friendly composite material currently available on the market. This way, we address the waste problem and reduce the composite industry's environmental impact while ensuring high performance standards.
Solaris Bus & Coach uses our composites for interior components in its buses, significantly reducing the carbon footprint of materials used in transport. Furthermore, our Green Composites meet the requirements of the European ECE R-118 standard, offering flame-retardant properties that ensure safety in public transport.
Our interdisciplinary, highly skilled team (material scientists, chemists, technologists, designers) manages projects in an end-to-end model:
from needs analysis and regulatory requirements, through custom product design, raw material selection and qualification, formulation development, to prototype manufacturing and pilot series, and finally, implementation support at the client's facility.
We provide validation of properties (including mechanical and flammability testing), prepare production documentation, and train teams. As a result, we shorten time-to-market, minimize technological risks, and deliver sustainable solutions.
