At Noma Resins, we base our product development on in-house research and practical experience in implementing technologies for the composite industry. We have fully equipped laboratories that serve as the hub of our R&D activities – from initial concepts and raw material selection, through formulation design, to property verification and preparing solutions for production.
New epoxy resin formulations and portfolio expansion
We systematically develop new epoxy resin formulations and modify existing products to meet current market needs: from automotive and construction to aerospace, electrical engineering, and the sports industry. We consistently enrich our portfolio by creating systems tailored to various manufacturing technologies as well as processing and end-use requirements. Our goal is to provide solutions that combine stable quality, predictable process behavior, and high-performance final parameters.
From idea to composite – rapid prototyping and testing
We put new concepts into practice by manufacturing prototype composites and evaluating them under conditions similar to industrial environments. We test various types of reinforcements and a wide range of additives and modifiers to achieve the target mechanical, thermal, and functional properties. This approach allows us to move quickly from an idea to a specific material that can be tested by the client or implemented in production.
Processing optimization and technological support
We understand that an effective product is not just about the parameters in the specifications, but above all, about trouble-free processing and repeatability. Therefore, as part of our in-house research, we also focus on improving processing properties, such as tailoring rheology to specific technologies, controlling the pot life of the mixture, the curing process, and reducing the risk of defects in the final product. The result is a stable technology that facilitates process scaling and quality maintenance under production conditions.
