COMPOSITE PARTS
We design and manufacture composites at Noma Resins for a wide range of industries, including automotive (especially public transportation), sportswear, construction, electronics, electrical, and mining.
Our main production technique is compression moulding, which enables us to create complex geometries with excellent mechanical and visual properties. One of our key advantages over other manufacturers is our ability to supply our own raw materials for composites, including resins and semi-finished products such as prepregs (glass, carbon, basalt, and natural fibers), as well as SMC and BMC materials. We continuously develop both materials and processes to deliver high-performance products at competitive prices.
We have developed a state-of-the-art process for manufacturing Green Composites from recycled components (GRP recycled components), using our NOMA Green Resins as a matrix. We are therefore capable of producing the greenest composite material on the market. today. In this way, we solve the problem of waste and reduce the environmental impact of the composite sector while continuing to provide high-performance solutions.
Solaris Bus & Coach uses our composites as interior components in their buses, significantly reducing the carbon footprint of materials used in transportation. Moreover, our Green Composites fulfill the European ECR R-118 Regulation, requirements, with flame-retardant properties that make them safe for use in public transport.
Our highly skilled team can help you create or re-design your product and processes to meet the latest industry standards and offer sustainable solutions to the society.
NOMA GREEN
A line of epoxy resins produced on the basis of bioglycerin. Our products are made from renewable, sustainable resources and are a response to the environmental issues affecting the composite industry. Our selection includes products with a bio-component content of 27-100%, enabling the carbon footprint to be decreased by up to 40% compared to “traditional” resins.
Depending on the hardener used, our bio-resins can be utilised in:
– electrical engineering and electronics (capacitor and resistor coatings, pouring of elements)
– construction – floors, road surfaces, joints
– sporting equipment and any carbon fibre or fibreglass composites
– adhesives – for metal, glass, stone, wood
– paints
NOMA PREG
A line of autoclave and out of autoclave epoxy resin based fibre prepregs. They are available in a wide variety – carbon, glass, aramid and basalt fibres to choose from. The distinguishing feature of our products is the lack of the need to use reduced temperatures for their storage – stability at room temperature for up to 12 months. Curing is recommended at temperatures from 90 to 180⁰C. We are currently developing flame retardant and antistatic prepregs.
NOMA TOOLS
A line of epoxy and polyester tooling systems for the production of composite moulds
- thermoforming system, e.g. ABS (HDT system 250 ⁰C)
- tooling pastes and modelling blocks
- epoxy tooling gel coats
- prepreg tooling systems
NOMA GLUE
A line of epoxy and methacrylate adhesive systems for various applications. The following versions are available: thixotropic, transparent, reinforced with glass and carbon fibre and the so-called “liquid metal”. They show excellent adhesion to most materials, including steel, aluminium, composites based on chemically hardened matrix and even PP, PE, ABS, PVC. They are characterised by curing times of 7 to 60 minutes.
NOMA CAST
A line of epoxy, super-transparent casting systems with a range of one-time casting thicknesses from 1 to 50 mm.
It is characterised by perfect surface quality without air pockets or shrinkage, as well as wide possibilities of pigmentation and creating unique compositions. In addition, these products are user-friendly, odourless and safe to use.
NOMA FLOOR
A line of epoxy flooring systems with a range of one-time casting thicknesses from 1 to 50 mm. Perfect surface quality without air pockets or shrinkage
- wide possibilities of pigmentation and creating unique compositions
- user-friendly, odourless and safe to use
NOMA UV
A line of resins cross-linked by UV radiation. Tested in 3D printing. Products with the prospect of use in trenchless pipeline repairs, repair systems and much more.
